Good To Know
We have put together some “good to know” items given our guests’ feedback on what they would find useful tips or items worth knowing when visiting the Burgundy area.
Lunch Hours
Lunch is generally served from noon to 14h30 and the last seating is normally around 13h00. It is sometimes hard to find a place for a late lunch…
Stores
All stores are closed during lunch times (including Pharmacies, grocery stores, shops, etc.).
Sundays
Stores are closed on Sundays. There are a few exceptions where some bakeries, smaller grocery stores will be on until noon on Sundays.
Mondays
Some stores are closed on Mondays (if stores are open on a Saturday they are sometimes closed on Mondays).
Food Markets
The food markets are only open in the mornings. They generally open early in the morning and will close at noon.
Dinner Hours
Dinners in restaurants usually start at 19h30 and the last seating is before 20h30.
National Holidays
Tourist attractions (Chateaux, Abbeys, vineyards, etc.) are open for visitors.

In case you need to see a doctor, we can recommend an English speaking doctor in Pouilly-en-Auxois.
